Thanks to everyone who attended and supported the annual Teamsters 213 Charity Golf Tournament this past weekend at the Penticton Golf and Country Club.
It was another amazing year for supporting Special Olympics BC! With the support of our generous sponsors and the 124 golfers who attended, we raised $39,000, bringing our total to more than $144,000 in the past four years!! That money will go toward providing inclusive sports, health, education and community-building programs for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
The Teamster for the day was Scott McLewin. Congratulations go out to this year’s champions: Brothers Mike Jensen, Ron Dreger, Peter Jensen, and Dean Kubas.
