Teamsters Local 213 principal officer Tony Santavenere was pleased to meet with Premier David Eby today. Santavenere thanked the Premier for his government’s recent commitment to significant increases to trades training funding. He also thanked the Premier for putting limits on employer’s requests for sick notes, which will save our members time and money.
Tony also met with BC Hydro board chair Glen Clark to discuss a possible Project Labour Agreement for the upcoming North Coast Transmission Line project.
It was an exciting and productive day alongside IUOE 115 business manager Bryan Railton and LiUNA 1611 business manager Nav Malhotra.
