Teamsters Local 213 is pleased to announce Brother John Norton’s retirement after more than 30 years of service!!  John spent 30 years with Sun-Rype Products in Kelowna, BC.  We were pleased to present Brother John with his retirement package including a Teamster Jacket and “30 Years” service pin.  Congratulations John!!!

Brother Vic Hendrickson, a 32-year member of Teamsters Local 213 and driver for Van Kam, retired in March.

Brother Allan Batuik recently retired from Kelowna Ready Mix with over 35 years of service.  Teamsters 213 Business Representative Andy Semenoff presented Brother Allan with his retirement package and “35 Years” service pin.  Congratulations!

Teamsters Local 213 is pleased to announce Brother Len Silvester’s retirement after more than 42 years of service!!  Len spent 21 years with Jenkins Cartage and 22 years with OK Builders.  We were pleased to present Brother Len Silvester with his retirement package including a Teamster Jacket and “40 Years” service pin.  We asked Len what he thought of being part of the Teamsters for more than 42 years?  Len replied “Teamsters afforded my wife and family a very good life!”

Sister Sandra Ross, a 32-year Teamster member, has retired from Sun-Rype.  Sandra was presented with a retirement package at the Kelowna office by Business Representative Kimm Davis. Asked how she was enjoying retirement, she said, “Life is good!”
