The 48th Annual Variety Show of Hearts Telethon raised $6,671,138 for children with special needs across B.C. Sixty five Teamster members volunteered their valuable time to support the telethon in the capacity of access control. Business Representative and access control co-chair Tony Santavenere thanks all the volunteers once again for their hard work and says he “is looking forward to seeing them all again next year and any new volunteers who may be interested in contributing their time helping these special children and their families.” Teamsters Joint Council 36 (Local 213, 31, 464 and 155) together donated $10,000 for children who have special needs throughout the province.
