Teamsters Local 213 was pleased to offer an intensive and interactive Shop Steward Seminar in New Westminster on November 15th.
Dave Schaub, (Director of Mediation for the Labour Relations Board of B.C.), started off the morning session with education on legal framework, legislation, negotiations and mediation.
Jamie Donnelly, with Teamsters Canada (Director of Education – English) provided comprehensive and interactive training on Canadian Labour History, the Art of Communication, Generations at Work and Alternative Dispute Resolution for our afternoon session.
The seminar was well attended by Shop Stewards across the Lower Mainland with representation from all trades.
