Teamsters Local 213 Principal Officer Tony Santavenere released the following statement on the provincial government’s decision to retender the Massey Tunnel Replacement project:
“We know residents of the Lower Mainland are keen to see this project move forward in a serious way, and so are we. Our members have been making great preliminary progress on site and we’re ready to deliver the work that’s required. This retendering process will allow local contractors to become involved with the project and ensure more benefits to local communities. We look forward to bringing this important project to life.”
