Labour Dispute has come to an end!
I would like to thank all the members at ok ready mix who have stayed very strong and united since January 21, 2025, standing side by side even when braving minus-17 weather.
The group achieved a four-year deal with 7/4.5/3/3.5 percent increases.
Special thanks to Sister Kimm Davis and Brother Barry Capozzi, along with the organizing department and the bargaining committee, Todd Gray, Cody Berard, Ross Giardullo, and Mark Verhaege.
I’d also like to thank the Teamsters Local Union 213 executive board and principal officer, Tony Santavenere for all the support.
To all the neighboring businesses, other Unions, the Kelowna Curling club, and the Public, thank you all as well for the support, I know it meant a lot to the Membership.

Members took strike action at Heidelberg Materials Concrete Okanagan (formerly OK Ready-Mix). Picket lines went up at Heidelberg worksites in Kelowna, Kamloops and Penticton.
Locations: Kelowna Ellis Street & Glenmore Road, Kamloops Sarcee Street, Penticton Camrose Street.
